An Experiment in Adjusting an Alcohol-based Reality Filter. The more beer you drink, the more the world seems to make sense. I'm not sure if this is the beer's fault, or the world's. Experiments proceed. For pigeonholing purposes, I consider myself a South Park Conservative: I believe in Loose Women and Tight Borders but I'm getting anime porn and legally mandated lounges for day laborers...further adjustment to the model may be needed. e-mail me at slayerdaddy-AT-yahoo.com

SHOCK HORROR! RAAAAACIST AUSTRALIANS DEPLOY SECRET JEW ROBOTS AGAINST INNOCENT TALIBAN!
A Special Three Beers Later Guest Report by Noted and Not-at-All biased Middle Eastern Correspondent Jamil al-Taqqiyah!
Jamil al-Taqqiyah is a fiery young nonpartisan journalist who regularly reports for NBC, Al-Jazeera and the BBC. Three Beers Later is proud to offer him his first blogging venue.
Although the perfidious Austrialian imperialist crusaders claim the drones will only be used for reconnaissance, the fact that the Zionist murder birds can carry up to 250kg of 'payloads' means the sons of transported convicts will surely outfit their Secret Jew Robots with the sort of Secret Jew Rockets Israel uses to target rusting, abandoned ambulances in Gaza... again, we call on Attorney General Holder to assert his authority and put a stop to these flagrant abuses of internationlly-recognized law-enforcement procedure...

The Sinister insidious flying spies are intended to locate concentrations of Taliban, denying them their Constitutionally-protected First Amendment rights to freely assemble and call for the death of their neighbors.

What's In a Name?
A brand name, anyway,
When I bought my dead laptop, an HP Compaq Presario, it was in large part bcause I remembered the Hewlett-Packard name as the mark of quality product.
Turns out, not so much.
This probably doesn't come as news to a lot of you, but apparently HP's have a real problem with overheating because a) Hp can't be arsed to install a decent fan/hat sink and b) can't be further arsed to install it properly.
This is something I will be taking up with HP, but in the meantime, as I consider a replacement, I'd be interested in hearing folks' suggestions on an affordable PC laptop. All input gratefully accepted.
