An Experiment in Adjusting an Alcohol-based Reality Filter. The more beer you drink, the more the world seems to make sense. I'm not sure if this is the beer's fault, or the world's. Experiments proceed. Major Richard “Dick” Winters, 1918-2011

On D-Day, June 6, 1944, Winters and his troops from Easy Company, 506th regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, parachuted behind enemy lines to take on a German artillery nest on Utah Beach. His company fought through the Battle of the Bulge, the liberation of a death camp at Dachau and to Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest at Berchtesgaden.

Thankfully the doctors acknowledged the presence of the other victims, not just the Rep. Giffords. The doctors get it. The media does not...as usual.

God rest Mr. Winters, and all the rest of those that were murdered in this senseless act. May God give comfort to all those effected. And may he give courage to those still fighting.

In the meantime, there's a tall tree near Tucson, and alot of folks (including me) with rope just itching to serve up justice.
