An Experiment in Adjusting an Alcohol-based Reality Filter. The more beer you drink, the more the world seems to make sense. I'm not sure if this is the beer's fault, or the world's. Experiments proceed. For pigeonholing purposes, I consider myself a South Park Conservative: I believe in Loose Women and Tight Borders but I'm getting anime porn and legally mandated lounges for day laborers...further adjustment to the model may be needed. e-mail me at slayerdaddy-AT-yahoo.com
Why is this not bigger news? CNN has nothing, Drudge has nothing, and FOXNews has a tiny article. Disgusting.
ReplyDeleteSimple answers, Wyatt. He wasn't a member of congress, and he was Conservative appointed by a Bush.
ReplyDeleteThankfully the doctors acknowledged the presence of the other victims, not just the Rep. Giffords. The doctors get it. The media does not...as usual.
God rest Mr. Winters, and all the rest of those that were murdered in this senseless act. May God give comfort to all those effected. And may he give courage to those still fighting.
In the meantime, there's a tall tree near Tucson, and alot of folks (including me) with rope just itching to serve up justice.

My apologies. Got a little mixed up. The world lost two heroes. Major Winters has obviously secured a special place in Heaven.

The Major would never call himself a hero, but he was just that in every sense of the word. Along with all the brave men and women who have served this country. Thank you for your service Major. I know your family and friends will miss you terribly.
ReplyDeleteMajor Richard Winters death deserves more attention. A Warrior who dedicated his life to Peace should be remembered by a nation at war with itself.
ReplyDeleteGod Speed Sir. All who cherish Freedom mourn your passing.
A truly great man, our loss is heaven's gain. We need more Dick Winters in this world.
ReplyDeleteRIP Sir!
I agree this should have been a bigger story. This man made history. Made it happen. He helped the US ARMY the United States win the war. He was not only important to his family but important to me and I never really knew this man.
ReplyDeleteA great man shows his greatness by the way he treats his man...
ReplyDeleteMay you rest in peace Sir Richard Winters...
