Deborah Leigh said... It is always a great to be part of a homecoming. This is a Air Force group that was stationed at Gitmo.

There was a very special guest in attendance. The woman in the green sweater standing with her luggage in the second picture on the right is Peggy Ogonowski. Her husband was John Ogonowski, the pilot of the first plane to hit the World Trader Towers on September 11th. He and the rest of his crew were murdered (slit their throats) by Mohammed Atta and his terrorist buddies. Peggy was either on her way to catch a flight or had just arrived, but she took the time to thank the troops. Great lady! Let us never forget September 11.
