Hey! Everyone knows that the troops probably have some sort of problems. You know, like, some sort of PTSD. And everyone knows that the terrorists will stop at nothing, so for all we know that old man's scooter could be packed with explosives. That's why they used the wand on his artificial leg. Bet he got alot of cash to cut off that leg.
BTW, for the slow, PTSD used here means Patriotism...the Strong Defense.
