The surgery to close her chest back up went outstandingly well, according to the doctors.  They anticipate a two week recovery and monitoring period and then she can go home with her parents.

She faces more surgery in the future as the doctors basically upgrade her heart to keep up with her growth, but her prognosis remains excellent.

The Democrats are looking for a new slogan!
