Dear Patriot,

The charade is over.

We all knew that my opponent couldn’t hide behind the failed policies of Obama, Pelosi and Reid forever. Even the liberal media led by Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann can't cover up the truth.

Consider this: In 2009, while my opponent was a County Executive, he proposed a 25% property tax increase. Believe it or not, during a time of economic crisis, his plan was to raise taxes on homes and businesses by 25%! It wasn't to cut government, that's for sure.

But he was only getting started. During his tenure as County Executive, my opponent proposed raising property taxes a total of 47%! I can’t even imagine what he’ll do when times are good.

We already knew that my opponent will be a lap dog for Harry Reid. In fact, Harry Reid called my opponent “his pet”. But it appears he doesn't need Reid's influence to support more big government.

Instead of another Obama lap dog, we need real political leaders in Washington that will fight against the Obama, Pelosi and Reid agenda.

It’s obvious that Barack Obama and his cronies think they can just bully my opponent around to do what they say – and by his tax record, he’ll go along with it!

You know who the Democrats won’t push around?

Us.

We will not stand idle while the Democrats try their hardest to raid our hard-earned retirements. We will not sit by and watch Washington liberals give special perks to their cronies. I will not tolerate their liberal policies and I know you won’t either.

Time is running out for us to clean the Democrats out of Washington. You’ve read about my opponent’s tax record. Do we want more tax and spenders this in DC?

This election, our country faces an immense decision. Keep more of the same politics as usual in Washington or truly change the disastrous course our country is currently on.

Did Kagan actually defend Obama in Ohio lawsuits demanding he prove his citizenship?  Snopes says no evidence, but:

I went to Snopes to check this out and they said it was false and there were no such dockets so I googled the supreme court, typed in Obama Kagan, and guess what? Yep you got it. Snopes lied. Every one of those dockets are there. So here is what I wrote Snopes: WND article about Elena Kagan and Barak Obama dockets. The information you have posted stating that there were no such cases as claimed by WND and the examples you gave are blatently false. I went directly to the Supreme courts website, typed in Obama Kagan and immediately came up with all of the dockets that WND made reference too. I have long suspected that you really slant things but this was really shocking. I hope you will be much more truthful in the future.

Bet you didn't know this....Kagan was representing Obama—defending him in all the petitions to prove his citizenship. Now she may help rule on them.

Well, someone figured out why Obama nominated Elana Kagan for the Supreme Court.... Pull up the Supreme Court's website, go to the docket and search for Obama. She was the Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship. He owed her big time. All of the requests were denied of course. They were never heard. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it? The American people mean nothing any longer.. It's all about payback time for those that compromised themselves to elect someone that really has no true right to even be there. We should be getting so sick of all of this nonsense.

It isn't a question of whether Kagan should have been defending Obama; as Solicitor-General, that's her job.  The question is, was Snopes truthful?  Or is this another questionable call by Snopes in defense of Obama and in defiance of the facts?

Breaking News in My Burgeoning ShowBiz Career...!

I was over at the Burbank GOP HQ phonebanking for Merlin Froyd yesterday, and I got dragooned into appearing in a campaign video with... someone... that will blow the roof off...er... some race...somewhere...

I don't have permission to release any details yet, but trust me, I was magnificent.  There hasn't been a screen presence like mine since Sidney Greenstreet tried to share a table at the Brown Derby with Oliver Hardy.

Just remember, folks, the camera adds ten pounds, and they had like six of the damn things.

In closing, I want to say just one final thing: acting with clothes on is hard.

Howard Berman (D., CA-28) Bails on L.A. Candidates' Forum

...in spite of previous commitment to appear.

Berman's office cited Berman's need to remain in D.C. on 'legislative requirements.'  In light of the laughably superficial series of bills being scheduled while the Dem leadership puts off votes on taxation, DISCLOSE, union voting and other pressing issues, we can only assume that Berman understands that those post offices won't simply name themselves. There are also rumors that Berman's Foreign Affairs committee has booked Colbert for an encore engagement...

It remains to be seen whether Berman's busy legislative schedule will keep him from his scheduled October 20th debate with opponent Merlin Froyd as well....
