Deborah Leigh said...The first video was a precursor. A friend of ours couldn't hear on his cell during lunch at the Northridge store due to the overwhelming support. We visited both stores at dinner, and the lines into the lot, drive-thru and walk up were long, but everyone was patient. Richard made it to the back of the building after 1 hour 45 minutes. We called it a night and went back on Thursday. Everyone was having a great time being part of the support.
The second video was shot from the Hollywood location. Four protestors obviously outnumber by supporters including local talk show host Larry Elder in the car behind us.
I went back to the Northridge store on Friday and business was still brisk. Tammy, one of the long time employees, recongnized me. I inquired if they had any brochures on the various foundations, they didn't, but there is information on the wall. They do have the book by their founder, S. Truett Cathy, about how he started it all. It's a page turner. I highly recommend it.
