I met a Japanese woman over the weekend. She told of a young Canadian man who went to Japan to help in the aid efforts. He doesn't speak Japanese and knows no one there. Obviously, he should have donated the plane fare to a relief agency. His presence if more a burden than help. It takes resources away from those affected. There are foreign charities like Samaritan's Purse that go in, but they take everything with them so they don't further burden the area. God bless em!
